Talmar's Annual 5K Benefits Our Mission

In the month of April Talmar's 5K Walk-Run has become an annual event that marks one of our biggest fundraising events of the year.  Held in conjuction with our Daffodil Festival it is a fun time to celebrate a new season of growth and a renewed sense of purpose.

The race is co-sponsored by Baltimore County Department of Recreation and Parks Therapeutic Services, Baltimore Road Runners Club and Cromwell ValleyPark Council. Proceeds fund seeds, supplies and transportation that supply salad mixes to local soup kitchens in the Baltimore area throughout the winter months.  These food products are grown at Talmar by our consumers: individuals with disabilities who utilize Talmar's services.
