Talmar, in conjunction with The Community College of Baltimore County, will be the site for 10 hour course called The Garden Project. This course is designed to help the student build the perfect garden using basic geometry, measurement, basic botany and basic design principles.
The course will teach you:
- How plants grow and develop
- How to identify plants indigenous to the Mid-Atlantic
- Basic steps in the care of plants and flowers
- How to use math to plant a garden
- How to use basic geometry skills to design a garden
- How to use color in basic floral design
- Styles of garden design
